Resource and Special Day Class

The Resource and Special Day classrooms are classrooms of smaller ratios with additional support staff, where a special education program can be delivered to a student with a disability. It is for a student who qualifies for either a special class or regular class placement but needs some special instruction in an individualized or small group setting for a portion of the day. Individual needs are supported in resource or special day classrooms as defined by the student’s IEP.

Speech and Language Program

The Speech and Language Program offers remediation services to students who meet the state’s eligibility criteria for a communication disorder. Therapy services are provided in the following areas: Articulation Development, Abnormal Voice, Fluency, and Language Development.
